The Association came to eventis for
help in creating their inaugural golf fundraiser, which is
seen as a way to diversify the organization’s revenue

The 100 Year Association Golf & Tennis Classic was held
on May 23, 2005 and attracted some 80 guests. In addition
to the golf and tennis tournaments, a formal reception was
held on the patio of Sunningdale Country Club. Former FDNY
Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen - introduced by former
New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani - was honored with the 100
Year Association's "Distinguished Service Award".
